Scrubs

Whilst we have been sorting out what is required for Scrubs and sourcing material many of our team have been making laundry bags, headbands and scrub caps. These have been fantastically successful, however, to all those who are able to make scrubs as soon as you have fabric and can start please make scrubs. Scrubs are our absolute priority as we have so many to make.

If you haven’t been able to get an answer on what size to make please start with large or medium. Thank you.

There is no requirement for pockets in the trousers and please use drawstring and not elastic.

Please remember to label both garments with the size as per the guidelines on the website.

When you have completed your sewing please put each completed set in its own scrub bag and mark the bag clearly with what size you have made. Please also put a separate removable label on it that says whether it has been made from funded fabric, fabric you have bought / donated / had passed on to you or in particular if it has been made with very good quality lightly used duvet fabric. The latter should only be used if very very good and will not be sent to the Acute Hospitals. This will help when sorting for delivery. Please let your coordinators know you have scrubs for collection / delivery. Please be assured that your scrubs will be delivered very quickly to the people who need them.

Specification

Any colour

From 65% polyester 35% cotton up to 35% polyester 65% cotton.
